Getting around

Getting around is done mostly by walking, trekking, 4×4 taxi or by sea taxi. You may also rent bicycles and mopeds in Tekek, for a small tour.

Money

The Local currency is RM (Ringgit Malaysia) and sen (cents). Swiss Cottage does not take credit cards, but there is an automatic teller machine at the BSN Bank just opposite the Airport. However please bring some Ringgit with you as there is only one ATM on the island and it does go out of order from time to time.
